Seth Grimes is always worth reading · 03/03/2006 08:06 PM, Analysis

If you like reading about the tools and technology driving our ability to turn data into something useful, you should be reading Seth Grimes. He has a column in Intelligent Enterprise magazine (itself a good read) and posts on various discussion groups and forums.

Here’s a recent column pointing out some under-the-radar tools and approaches to analyzing data which herald the next generation of “olap” approaches.

An archive is here.

If ever someone needed a blog, he does, but til then, you can kind of keep tabs on his work at his consulting company’s home page, Alta Plana.

(BTW, another guy who has written some good articles in IE is Stephen Few who is mentioned in the Grimes article above.)
